Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to work with some of the engineers who have created the best audio equipment still being used? I mean, I would love to build some Neumann microphones, or maybe a vintage 1176. Heck, I just want to look at the components and see if I could improve on it. The more you work on a thing the better you become, and the smarter you get.
